The 2017 Reimagine Education conference will take place in Philadelphia on the 4th-5th December. It will unite thought-leaders from across the educational landscape, including those from industry, academia, and government. Jonathan Rochelle
Google Apps for Education
Google remain among the world’s foremost providers of ICT services and technology to educational institutions across the world. The G Suite for Education (formerly called Google Apps for Education) core services are the heart of Google’s educational offering to schools. Jonathan oversees this Suite, which reaches more than 60 million educators and students. He was responsible for the recent launches of Google Classroom and Google Expeditions, and he will be providing further insight into Google’s work, and vision for education, at Reimagine 2017 as a keynote speaker.
Satya Nitta
IBM Research
Reimagine Education continues to cultivate close relationships with the world’s most innovative technological companies, and securing Satya Nitta’s return to Reimagine Education is coherent with this aim. He is currently Global Head of Cognitive Science, Immersive Reality and Education Technology at IBM Research. He has received 1700 citations on his published work, and significant external recognition including IEEE Ace Innovator of the Year and Technology of the Year winner, and placement in the Top 50 Makers & Shakers of Education Technology Global Award list.
Jeff Dieffenbach
Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Jeff Dieffenbach is Associate Director of the MIT Integrated Learning Initiative, which funds, connects, and disseminates transformational MIT research investigating learning effectiveness across pK-12, higher education, and workplace learning. He will be leading an ‘In Conversation’ session entitled ‘What Makes Learning Effective?’ at Reimagine Education, where attendees will receive unique insight into MIT’s groundbreaking research into pathways by which learning outcomes can be improved for students worldwide.
The Reimagine Education Steering Committee is continuing to confirm speaking arrangements with an unparalleled lineup of educational experts from across the world, including contributors to sessions on – inter alia – neuroscientific applications for education, learning analytics, the role of the educator in the 21st century, alternative university models, the future of the degree, and digital disruption in business education.
