AWS EDSTART GOES ABROAD TO BRING RESOURCES TO EDTECH STARTUPS
REIMAGINE NEWSLETTER: ISSUE 21
Find out what’s included in the fifth 2018 edition of your Reimagine Education Newsletter: we shift our focus to accelerators and incubators. We introduce you to the Towson University Incubator, share news of AWS EdStart’s plans to go global, and invite readers to join the WISE Summit in 2019.
THE TOWSON UNIVERSITY INCUBATOR
Over the last decade, Towson University’s Incubator – the TU Incubator – has supported over 80 companies, while also collaborating with Baltimore County to support the creation of new corporate ventures and regional economic development. Their EdTech Innovation Showcase offers regional education technology entrepreneurs to showcase their work, making them a natural regional complement to the work done by Reimagine Education. Find out more about them here.
AWS EDSTART GOES ABROAD TO BRING RESOURCES TO EDTECH STARTUPS
Our Reimagine Education Gold EdTech Sponsor, Amazon Web Services, outline their plans to take their EdStart initiative – designed to help edtech solutions construct effective, successful solutions on the AWS Cloud – global.
INTRODUCING: THE WORLD INNOVATION SUMMIT FOR EDUCATION
The WISE Accelerator has also supported Reimagine Education since 2016, and are, like both of our other contributing incubator/accelerator programs, aiming to support the development of innovative education technology solutions. Though their 2018 call for applications has now closed, they are encouraging engagement with edtech companies whose work has high potential for scalability and impact. Find out more about their work, and their 2019 summit, here.
